What About Music Events?

Every year the Mahalo Bash concert is Sunday night after the hula competition is pau (finished), and this year it featured Na Hoku Hanohano winner Na Palapalai. See the Bash page for more information.

There were also events every evening at the host hotel.

Cultural Events?

Besides the competition itself, the venue was chock full of vendors providing food, clothing, flowers, Hawaiian instrumenets, and the Hawaiian Cultural Village.

Some people received some hands-on experience in our Lei Making Workshop and Contest.

Host Hotel

Once again we were pleased to have the Westin Long Beach as our host hotel. They are conveniently located across the street from the event venue, and plays host to many associated events (check our Events Page).
